The Beatitudes give us a picture of a true disciple of God. Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. "The kingdom of heaven" refers to people who acknowledge Yehovah as King. "Blessed are those daring enough to openly live as Yeshua and suffer persecution. The Sermon on the Mountain Κατανόηση της επί του βουνού ομιλίας Ομιλία στο βουνό βίντεο The Sermon on the Mountain This final diagnostic test goes directly to the heart of the Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 5:1–12). It strips away the passive, poetic veneer that religion often wraps around the Beatitudes, forcing the reader to look into the mirror of the Messiah's opening words and see if their internal condition matches the exact description of a citizen of His Kingdom. 📋 The "Sermon on the Mount" Internal Alignment Test Instructions: Answer these 8 direct questions based on your true internal state and outward actions to determine if you are bearing the fruit of a true disciple or if you are simply tracking with the crowds. Question 1: Poor in Spirit vs. Self-Sufficient The Master states: "Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven." When you look at your life before Yehovah, what is your true spiritual posture? A) You walk in absolute bankruptcy, fully recognizing your total, desperate need for Yehovah to lead you, guide you, and instruct your every step. B) You are spiritually self-sufficient, relying on your own intellect, human doctrines, or a past prayer, assuming you are "good enough" without a daily, broken dependency on Him. Question 2: Mourning Over Sin vs. Rationalizing Compromise The Master states: "Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted." How do you respond internally when you realize you have violated the Father's commands or fallen into sin? A) You experience deep, heavy sorrow over your transgression, leading you to an immediate, physical turn (repentance) back to His ways so you can find the true comfort of His forgiveness. B) You shrug it off, minimize it, or claim that "grace covers it" without ever feeling genuine grief or making an effort to stop the behavior. Question 3: The Meek vs. The Self-Willed The Master states: "Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth." Meekness is strength under total submission. Who holds the ultimate authority over your time, your money, your diet, and your rest? A) You have fully submitted your neck to Yehovah's yoke. Whatever His Word commands, you do—making Him the absolute Lord over everything you possess. B) You are self-willed. You listen to God's Word only when it matches your existing lifestyle, retaining final veto power over any instruction that requires real sacrifice. Question 4: Hungering for Righteousness vs. Feasting on the World The Master states: "Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled." What is the driving passion and deepest hunger of your everyday life? A) You passionately long for the righteousness of Yeshua, consuming His Word daily like food and water, desperate to see His character and His Torah reflected perfectly in your walk. B) You are spiritually full and satisfied with the distractions, entertainment, and material comforts of this world, treating the deeper things of scripture as an occasional snack. Question 5: Merciful vs. Resentful The Master states: "Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy." When someone wrongs you or falls short, what is your knee-jerk reaction? A) You actively extend forgiveness, kindness, and compassion, remembering the massive debt of sin the Father forgave you, and you sow mercy so you may reap it. B) You hold grudges, keep tabs on offenses, or harbor bitter resentment, expecting the Father to show you unlimited mercy while you refuse to offer it to others. Question 6: Pure in Heart vs. Outward Appearance The Master states: "Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see Yehovah." Remembering Hebrews 12:14 ("Without holiness, no one will see Yehovah"), what does your life look like when no human being is watching? A) You pursue inward holiness that only Yehovah can see, begging Him to cleanse your hidden motives, your thoughts, and your desires from the inside out. B) You focus entirely on outward appearance. You put on a good show for people at church or online, but your hidden thought life remains uncleaned and full of compromise. Question 7: Peacemakers vs. Divide-and-Conquer The Master states: "Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called sons of Yehovah." How do you handle the ministry of reconciliation (2 Corinthians 5:19–20)? A) Having been reconciled to the Father through Yeshua, you actively bring that exact message of truth, repentance, and restored covenant fellowship to the people around you. B) You cause division, spread gossip, or remain completely silent about the Messiah, leaving the people in your life disconnected from the only source of true peace. Question 8: Persecuted for Righteousness vs. Hiding the Light The Master states: "Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness... Blessed are you when people insult you... because of me." What happens when your obedience to scripture causes friction with family, friends, or the culture? A) You dare to openly live exactly as Yeshua lived, counting it a joy and a privilege to face insults, exclusion, or false accusations for the sake of His name and His truth. B) You hide your faith, adjust your language, or compromise on the commandments to blend in, ensuring you never face discomfort, social rejection, or pushback from the world. The Kingdom Verdict: Look back over the eight boxes you checked. If the answers land consistently on B, the mirror reveals a sobering truth: The crowd followed Yeshua for the miracles, but only the disciples climbed the mountain to live by His words. You cannot inherit the Kingdom of Heaven if you reject the internal alignment required of its citizens . The Beatitudes are not a list of optional suggestions; they are the baseline character of the remnant. To claim to follow the Messiah while refusing to walk in His meekness, His purity, and His willingness to suffer for righteousness is to remain outside the gate. The choice to step onto the mountain and obey is yours today. Matthew 5:3-12 By Mary Fairchild The Beatitudes give us a picture of a true disciple of God . Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs, is the kingdom of heaven. The phrase "poor in spirit" speaks of a spiritual condition of poverty. It describes the person who recognizes his or her need for Yehovah. "The kingdom of heaven" refers to people who acknowledge Yehovah as King. Paraphrase: "Blessed are those who humbly recognize their need for Yehovah, for they will enter into his kingdom." Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted. "Those who mourn" speaks of those who express deep sorrow over sin and repent for their sins. The freedom found in forgiveness of sin and the joy of eternal salvation is the "comfort" of those who repent. Paraphrase: "Blessed are those who mourn for their sins, for they shall receive forgiveness and life eternal." Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth. Similar to "the poor," "the meek" are those who submit to Yehovah’s authority and make Him Lord. Revelation 21:7 says Yehovah’s children will "inherit all things." Paraphrase: "Blessed are those who submit to Yehovah as Lord, for they will inherit everything he possesses." Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled. "Hunger" and "thirst" speak of deep need and driving passion. This "righteousness" refers to Yeshua Messiah. To "be filled" is the satisfaction of our soul's desire. Paraphrase: "Blessed are those who passionately long for Christ, for he will satisfy their souls." Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy. We reap what we sow. Those who demonstrate mercy will receive mercy. Likewise, those who have received great mercy will show great mercy. Mercy is shown through forgiveness, kindness, and compassion toward others. Paraphrase: "Blessed are those who show mercy through forgiveness, kindness, and compassion, for they will receive mercy." Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see Yehovah. The "pure in heart" are those who have been cleansed from within. This is not outward righteousness that can be seen by men, but inward holiness that only Yehovah can see. The Bible says in Hebrews 12:14 that without holiness, no one will see Yehovah. Paraphrase: "Blessed are those who have been purified from the inside out, being made clean and holy, for they will see Yehovah." Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called sons of Yehovah. The The Bible says we have peace with Yehovah through Yeshua Messiah. Reconciliation through Christ brings restored fellowship (peace) with Yehovah. 2 Corinthians 5:19-20 says Yehovah entrusts us with this same message of reconciliation to take to others. Paraphrase: "Blessed are those who have been reconciled to Yehovah through Yeshua Messiah and bring this same message of reconciliation to others. All who have peace with Yehovah are his children." Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Just as Yeshua faced persecution, so will his followers. Those who endure by faith rather than hide their faith to avoid persecution are genuine followers of Yeshua. Paraphrase: " Blessed are those daring enough to openly live as and for Yeshua and suffer persecution, for they will receive the kingdom of heaven."Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you, and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you. Matthew 5:11

  • Test Your Self | Answers 4 Saints

The Diagnostic Test — Spirit of Truth or Spirit of Tradition? Use these four questions to examine yourself or guide a brother or sister through honest self-reflection: 1. The Humility Test (John 16:13 & Acts 17:11) The Question: When clear biblical evidence exposes that an inherited church belief or holiday violates Scripture, what is your immediate response? Spirit of Truth: "Let God be true and every man a liar." You yield to the text, repent, and abandon the tradition, regardless of the personal or family cost. Spirit of Tradition: You become defensive, dismiss the study, justify church custom, or claim "God knows my heart." 2. The Obedience Test (1 John 2:3–4 & John 14:15) The Question: “Now by this we know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments. He who says, ‘I know Him,’ and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.” Do you strive to obey His commandments, or do you view His law as a burden? Spirit of Truth: Obedience is your act of love and fruit of repentance. Spirit of Tradition: Uses grace as an excuse for disobedience, claiming the commandments don't apply anymore. 3. The Authority Test (Mark 7:7–9) The Question: When God's Word says one thing and your denomination or favorite preacher says another, who wins? Spirit of Truth: Scripture alone holds final authority over doctrine and daily life. Spirit of Tradition: Denominational catechisms, pastors' opinions, and family heritage overrule the text. 4. The Name Test (Matthew 1:21 & Acts 4:12) The Question: When shown that Gabriel assigned the Hebrew name Yeshua ("Yahweh is Salvation"), carrying the Father's personal redemptive signature, does your spirit leap to honor it, or do you despise its Hebrew origin? Spirit of Truth: Receives the name with reverent joy, marveling at the Father's salvation. Spirit of Tradition: Clings to familiarity and mocks or rejects the original Hebrew truth. Part 3: The Watchman’s Mandate “Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel; therefore hear a word from My mouth, and give them warning from Me: When I say to the wicked, ‘You shall surely die,’ and you give him no warning, nor speak to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life, that same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at your hand. Yet, if you warn the wicked, and he does not turn from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but you have delivered your soul.” — Ezekiel 3:17–19 To the Reader: This warning is delivered to you not in hatred, but in urgent love. You have now been shown the mirror of Scripture. The difference between what God commanded and what man instituted is clear. In Romans 8:1–14, Paul sets up an absolute, binary divide. There is no middle ground or third category: a person is either governed by the mind of the flesh (sarx) or the Spirit of God (Pneuma). Paul does not frame this test around emotional experiences or external religious performance, but around dominion, mindset, and alignment with God's law. 1. The Starting Position: Condemnation vs. Freedom (vv. 1–4) What God Said: The Mosaic Law was holy and just, but it was "weakened by the flesh"—it could command righteousness, but human nature could not produce it. God fulfilled the righteous requirement of the Law by sending His Son in the likeness of sinful flesh to condemn sin in the flesh. The Mark of Having the Spirit: The believer walks "not according to the flesh but according to the Spirit" (v. 4). The law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set them free from the law of sin and death. The Contrast: The flesh is trapped under an endless cycle of command, failure, and condemnation. The Spirit produces an internal reality where the demand of God's Word is actively loved and lived out. 2. The Mindset Test: Setting the Affections (vv. 5–6) "For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit set their minds on the things of the Spirit. For to set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace." (vv. 5–6) The Mind of the Flesh: Governed by temporal preservation, self-elevation, appetites, and autonomous human reasoning. Its ultimate end is spiritual decay and death. The Mind of the Spirit: Preoccupied with what honors God—truth, holiness, obedience, and kingdom purposes. The Test: What does the mind naturally drift toward when unrestrained? The flesh defaults to self-interest; the Spirit defaults to God's will, resulting in inner stability (life and peace). 3. The Authority Test: Hostility vs. Submission (vv. 7–8) "For the mind that is set on the flesh is hostile to God, for it does not submit to God's law; indeed, it cannot. Those who are in the flesh cannot please God." (vv. 7–8) This is the diagnostic core of Paul’s argument: The Flesh Cannot Submit: The natural human heart views God's absolute authority as an imposition or a threat to autonomy. Even when outwardly observant, it negotiates, modifies, or excuses disobedience. It is fundamentally at war with "God Said." The Inability to Please God: Good deeds, religious ceremonies, or moral philosophies done under the impulse of the flesh remain unacceptable to God because the underlying will has never surrendered. 4. The Ownership Test: The Indwelling Presence (vv. 9–11) "You, however, are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if in fact the Spirit of God dwells in you. Anyone who does not have the Spirit of Christ does not belong to him." (v. 9) Paul’s Binary Conclusion: You either possess the Spirit and belong to Christ, or you do not have the Spirit and are alien to Him. There is no category of a Christian who lacks the Spirit of Christ. The Internal Witness: If Christ is in you, the natural body remains subject to physical death because of sin, but the spirit is alive because of imputed and imparted righteousness (v. 10). The Guarantee: The same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead acts as a residing power, imparting resurrection life even to mortal bodies to walk in holiness now (v. 11). 5. The Mortification and Sonship Test (vv. 12–14) "For if you live according to the flesh you will die, but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live. For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God." (vv. 12–14) Active Mortification: Having the Spirit does not mean passive sinlessness; it means active warfare. The true believer does not coddle the flesh or make peace with compromise—they actively put to death the misdeeds of the body through the Spirit's power. Led by the Spirit: In biblical context, being "led by the Spirit" in verse 14 does not refer primarily to mystical nudges about career or life choices; it refers directly to being led away from sin and into righteousness. Summary Table: Romans 8 Diagnostic Diagnostic Marker The Mind of the Flesh (Lacking the Spirit) The Mind of the Spirit (Having the Spirit) Primary Impulse Self-preservation, worldly interest, autonomy (v. 5) Righteousness, divine purpose, eternal truth (v. 5) Relation to God's WordHostile, resisting, unable to submit (v. 7) Submissive, fulfilled by the Spirit's power (v. 4, 7) Spiritual Fruit Death, alienation, inability to please God (vv. 6, 8) Life, peace, reconciliation with the Father (v. 6) Daily Habit Indulging or rationalizing the body's appetites (vv. 12–13) Actively mortifying the deeds of the flesh (v. 13) Identity Debtor to the fallen nature; outside Christ (vv. 9, 12) P ossessed by Christ; confirmed son/daughter of God (vv. 9, 14)

"And you shall have the tassel, that you may look upon it and remember all the commandments of YEHOVAH and do them, and that you [may] not follow the harlotry to which your own heart and your own eyes are inclined, What does the tzitzit symbolize? Each tassel has eight threads (when doubled over) and five sets of knots, totaling 13. The sum of all numbers is 613, traditionally the number of commandments in the Torah. Great White Throne Judgment comes with a curse of eternal death. Make no mistake! God will allow you to defy and disobey Him. (He also says there is a day of reckoning coming.

Are you a REAL Christian? The Christianity of the new testament doesn't exist There was only one person in the entire Bible (Torah) that did everything correctly you proclaim to follow Him however you live and do the opposite. He said if you love me keep my commandments, but you don't Christ said: If you want to enter life, keep the commandments.” …Matthew 19:16 God cannot stand the prayers of anyone who disobeys his Law. Proverbs 28:9 If God's laws mean nothing to you You mean nothing to God But I will reply, ‘I never knew you. Get away from me, you who break God’s laws.’Matthew 7:23 All Israel will be saved If you do the things God hates and refuse to keep His commandments, you will receive the mark of the beast (Your Father the Devil) not the mark of God. “Shout with the voice of a trumpet blast. Shout aloud! Don’t be timid. Tell my people Israel of their sins! Isaiah 58:1 Yeshua is Our Advocate …3By this we can be sure that we have come to know Him: if we keep His commandments. 4If anyone says, “I know Him,” but does not keep His commandments, he is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 5But if anyone keeps His word, the love of God has been truly perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him:… Christianity the New Religion The Final Takeaway Yeshua didn't leave behind a selective checklist where people get to pick and choose which laws to follow. He left a narrow path. This test leaves absolutely no room for casual religion or intellectual debates. Yeshua didn't leave behind a philosophy to be discussed; He left a narrow path to be walked. If the answers point to a life of compromise, it isn't a cue to just feel guilty or give up—it is a direct, urgent call to repent. It means turning away from the ways of the world, picking up the truth of the Torah that Yeshua lived out, and making the firm decision to let your hands, your mind, and your daily life reflect the Master you claim to follow. If people claim to belong to Him but they refuse to live as He lived, keep what He kept, and honor the Torah the way He did, they are practicing lawlessness. True faith is not found in the empty rituals of those who rewrite His words—it is found in literal, active obedience to the Master. According to the New Testament, merely claiming to a Christian and follow the Messiah is not the same as actually following Him. Yeshua said : "And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?" (Luke 6:46) And: "If ye love me, keep my commandments." (John 14:15) The apostle John wrote: "And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him." (1 John 2:3–4) From this perspective, a person who continually refuses to follow the Messiah's teachings while professing faith creates a contradiction between their profession and their actions. However, many Christians would distinguish between: A believer who struggles with sin but desires to obey God and repents when they fail. A person who knowingly rejects God's commands and has no intention of obeying them. The New Testament repeatedly calls believers to repentance, faith, and obedience, while also recognizing that believers are not sinless and may stumble (1 John 1:8–9). So, if someone completely refuses to follow the Messiah and His commandments, many would argue that Scripture calls into question whether that person's profession of faith is genuine. Passages such as Matthew 7:21–23, Luke 6:46, and 1 John 2:3–4 are often cited in that discussion. The core biblical test is not what a person calls themselves, but whether their life shows faith expressed through obedience to God. How to Find Out Which Religion Is Right (It’s Easier Than You Think) Our Lord again reminds us that the manifestation of our love for Him will be in our obedience to His commands. Keeping Christ's commandments is and always has been the best test of our love for Yeshua Children of God Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.” And I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws. Ezekiel 36:27 This is how we know that we live in him and he in us: He has given us of his Spirit. 1 John 4:1 And For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God. Romans 8:1 1 See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know him. 2 Beloved, we are God’s children now, and what we will be has not yet appeared; but we know that when he appears we shall be like him, because we shall see him as he is. 3 And everyone who thus hopes in him purifies himself as he is pure. 4 Everyone who makes a practice of sinning also practices lawlessness; sin is lawlessness. 5 You know that he appeared in order to take away sins, and in him, there is no sin. 6 No one who abides in him keeps on sinning; no one who keeps on sinning has either seen him or known him. 7 Little children, let no one deceive you. Whoever practices righteousness is righteous, as he is righteous. 8 Whoever makes a practice of sinning is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the works of the devil. 9 No one born of God makes a practice of sinning, for God’s seed abides in him; and he cannot keep on sinning, because he has been born of God. 10 By this it is evident who are the children of God, and who are the children of the devil: whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is the one who does not love his brother. brother. My old self has been crucified with Christ. It is no longer me who lives, but Christ lives in me. So I live in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. Galatians 2:20 God's seal is not a physical mark The forehead represents the mind of those who make a conscious decision to obey God's requirements to receive His seal will protect us from the last seven plagues. The Mark of God is a sign of obedience between God and His faithful Thus the Sabbath is the sign of a relationship between God and His people, serving as "a test of their loyalty to Him" Yeshua is the LORD of the Sabbath, not Sunday and they get the Mark of God will escape the plages. We are sealed by the Holy Spirit. Is a characteristic of people who have surrendered their lives to God God's seal is in His laws. Bind up the testimonies and seal the law among my disciples. God's sign is His seal, the words sing and seal are interchangeable in the bible. The Sabbath is God's sign, The Sabbath is the seventh day of the week. The fourth commandment is to remember the Sabbath. There is not one scripture in the entire Bible changing the Sabbath to Sunday. Its a sign of God's authority He chose the day. There are three elements to a legal seal, The seal giver His title His territory The Great Commission The Great Commission is Jesus's final instruction to his disciples before his ascension, found in Matthew 28:19-20. The passage says, "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." This is not just a suggestion, but a command for all who follow Him. Why It Is Considered a Sin A Command, Not a Suggestion: The Bible frames this as a clear directive. A sin is defined as "missing the mark" or an act of disobedience against God's will. Willfully ignoring a direct command from Jesus is therefore considered a sinful act. The Nature of a Disciple: In Christian belief, a true disciple isn't just a follower, but a learner and a reproducer. The biblical understanding is that a disciple of Jesus should naturally want to share their faith and help others become disciples, just as they were discipled. A Christian who has no desire to make disciples may be demonstrating a lack of genuine conversion or a spiritual selfishness that is contrary to the self-sacrificial nature of Christ. Sins of Omission: The Bible teaches that sin isn't only about doing something wrong (sins of commission) but also about failing to do something you know you should do (sins of omission). Not making disciples falls squarely into this category. It's an act of neglecting a divinely ordained responsibility. While a Christian's salvation isn't based on their ability to make disciples, their obedience to this command is seen as evidence of their faith and love for God and others. For many, a failure to engage in this work points to a deeper spiritual issue, such as fear, a lack of trust in God's power, or a love for oneself more than for others. There is now one single law that rules both Jew and Greek alike: The law of faith (Romans 3:27) The law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:2) The law of Christ = love God and love your neighbor, fulfilled by the Spirit (Galatians 5:14; 6:2; Romans 13:8–10) One God. One Messiah. One gospel. One law for Jews and Greeks: faith in the crucified and risen Jesus. That is why Paul can say in the very next breath after “neither Jew nor Greek”: “You are all one in Christ Jesus. And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s offspring, heirs according to the promise” (Galatians 3:28–29). Same promise. Same inheritance. Same law. No exceptions. No special tracks.

Worship God in Spirit and Truth You can not come before God with anything you are nothing Spirit You can not come before God with anything you are nothing Spirit Body and Soul Narrow Gate & Path Key points about these verses: Nature of God: John 4:24 establishes that God is a Spirit, requiring spiritual worship. Guidance and Strength: Romans 8:26 highlights the Holy Spirit's role in assisting believers in prayer, even when they don't know what to ask for. Living a Christian Life: Galatians 5:16 encourages walking in the Spirit to resist fleshly desires. Respecting the Holy Spirit: Ephesians 4:30 warns against grieving the Holy Spirit, implying His personhood. Teaching and Remembrance: John 14:26 describes the Holy Spirit as the "Helper" who will teach and remind believers of Jesus' words. Spiritual sacrifices Do justice Do kindness and walk humbly with your God A broken spirit A broken and contrite heart Lear to do good Seek justice Defend the orphan Plead for the widow Love your neighbor as yourself The verse "Draw near to God and he will draw to you" is found in James 4:8 It is a promise highlighting that when individuals take steps to pursue a relationship with God—through prayer, repentance, and repentance—He responds by drawing near to them, offering intimacy, grace, and presence. Romans 10:10 states: "For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved." This verse highlights that salvation involves internal faith in Yeshua resurrection and external confession of Him as Lord, marking a move from legalism to grace. . Key Interpretations of Romans 10:10: Internal and External: It unites internal transformation with external testimony. Heart Belief (Justification): Faith in the heart refers to true, internal trust in God, which makes a person righteous (justified) in God’s sight. Mouth Confession (Salvation): Openly declaring that Jesus is Lord is the outward expression of that internal faith, leading to the assurance of salvation. Role of Grace: This verse underscores that salvation is a gift from God based on faith, not by works or personal performance The Absolute Requirement Romans 8:9 “If anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Him ” This is not a suggestion. It is a clear dividing line. E zekiel 36:27“I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments and do them. ” The Holy Spirit was never given so we could continue living however we want. His primary work is to empower and cause us to obey the Father’s Torah.1 John 3:24“Now he who keeps His commandments abides in Him, and He in him. And by this we know that He abides in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us.”You can only have confidence that the Spirit of God truly lives in you if you are actively keeping His commandments. Acts 5:32“And we are His witnesses to these things, and so also is the Holy Spirit whom God has given to those who obey Him.”God does not give His Holy Spirit to the rebellious or the lawless. He gives the Spirit to those who obey Him The Primary Test from Scripture 1. Do you belong to Yeshua? (The foundational test) Romans 8:9 “But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His.” If you truly belong to Yeshua (you have repented and trusted in Him), then you have the Spirit. But the next verses show how we can know it is real. 2. Is the Spirit causing you to obey God’s commandments? Ezekiel 36:27 “I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments and do them.” This is one of the clearest promises in the New Covenant. The Holy Spirit’s job is not just to make us feel saved — He causes obedience to the Father’s Torah (statutes and judgments). 3. Do you keep His commandments? 1 John 3:24 “Now he who keeps His commandments abides in Him, and He in him. And by this we know that He abides in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us.” John says this is how we know the Spirit is in us — by a lifestyle of keeping God’s commandments. 4. Has God given you the Spirit because you obey Him? Acts 5:32 “And we are His witnesses to these things, and so also is the Holy Spirit whom God has given to those who obey Him.” Obedience and the presence of the Spirit go together. God does not give His Spirit to those who persist in rebellion and lawlessness. Additional Evidences (Supporting Signs) While obedience is the clearest biblical test, other signs often appear when the Spirit is truly at work: The fruit of the Spirit growing in your life: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23). A deepening love for God, His Word, and His ways. Conviction of sin when you disobey (the Spirit will not let you stay comfortable in sin). A desire and growing ability to walk in holiness rather than the desires of the flesh. A Straightforward Answer You can know you have the Spirit of Christ if: You truly belong to Yeshua, and Your life is marked by a real, growing obedience to the Father’s commandments (not perfect sinlessness, but a clear direction away from lawlessness and toward holiness). If someone claims to have the Spirit but continues living in open rebellion against God’s Torah with no conviction or desire to change, the Bible says that is a serious warning sign (see also 1 John 2:3-6 and Matthew 7:21-23). The Final Verdict To truly “belong to Him” is to be born again — not just in words, but with a total change of identity. You are transferred from the family of rebels on the Broad Way into the family of obedient sons and daughters on the Narrow Path. Here is the sobering test: If the Holy Spirit is not causing you to walk in the Father’s Torah — His statutes and judgments — then you are still ruling your own life. You may boast that you are “free” from the Law, but in reality you are “free” from the King’s authority, “free” from His protection, and outside the gates of the New Jerusalem. Yeshua warned: “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the Kingdom… but only he who does the will of My Father” (Matthew 7:21). The Process of Being Born Again (Including Baptism) Being born again is a supernatural work of God through His Holy Spirit. It is not earned by human effort, but it follows a clear biblical pattern. Here is the full process: Hearing the Word of God The process begins when a person hears the gospel — the good news that Yeshua the Messiah died for our sins, was buried, and rose again on the third day (1 Corinthians 15:3-4; Romans 10:17). Conviction by the Holy Spirit The Holy Spirit convicts the heart of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8). The person recognizes their rebellion against God’s Torah and their desperate need for forgiveness and a new heart. Repentance True repentance is a change of mind and direction. You turn away from sin and self-rule (the Broad Way of lawlessness) and turn toward God with a willingness to obey Him (Acts 3:19; Luke 13:3). Faith / Belief in Yeshua You place your full trust in Yeshua as Lord and Savior, believing that His blood cleanses you from all sin and His resurrection gives you new life (Ephesians 2:8-9; John 3:16). The Miracle of New Birth (Regeneration) God sovereignly causes you to be born again by His Spirit. You receive a new heart and a new spirit (Ezekiel 36:26). The Holy Spirit comes to live inside you and begins to cause you to walk in the Father’s statutes and judgments (Ezekiel 36:27; Romans 8:9). Water Baptism – The Outward Act of Obedience After being born again, the next step of obedience is water baptism. Baptism is not what saves you or causes the new birth, but it is the biblical way to publicly identify with Yeshua’s death, burial, and resurrection. “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Yeshua the Messiah for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.” (Acts 2:38) Baptism is an act of burial (the old rebel life is buried) and resurrection (you rise to walk in newness of life). It is a public declaration: “I no longer belong to myself — I belong to Yeshua and His Kingdom.” Obedience as Ongoing Evidence The Holy Spirit now lives in you and produces fruit. You know the Spirit is truly in you because you keep God’s commandments and walk in His ways (1 John 3:24; Acts 5:32). A. The "Death" of the Old Man Born Again You cannot be "Born Again" until the "Old Man" (the rebel who hates the Sabbath and the Dietary Laws) dies. You must surrender your "opinion" to the King's Truth. The Broad Way: Tries to "add" Jesus to their old, lawless life. The Narrow Path: Buries the old life and rises as a New Creation. B. The "Implantation" of the Seed Peter says we are born again by the Incorruptible Seed of the Word (1 Peter 1:23). The Seed: The Torah (The Father's Instructions). The Growth: When the Spirit plants this seed in your heart, it must produce the Father's fruit. If you are born of a Holy Father, you will produce Holiness (Obedience). C. The "Sealing" (The Passport) The moment the Spirit enters, you are Sealed (Eph 1:13). This is your "Identification" for the New Jerusalem. The Proof: How do you know the "Transaction" happened? Ezekiel 36:27 says the Spirit will cause you to walk in His statutes. If you aren't walking in them, the transaction didn't take place. The Condensed "Born Again" Summary "Being Born Again is the moment you trade your 'Lawless Autonomy' for the King’s 'Spirit-Led Obedience.' It’s when the Holy Spirit moves in, kills the rebel in you, and starts rewriting the Father’s Torah on your heart so you can finally 'Hit the Mark' (Righteousness)." The "Attention-Grabbing" Question "If being Born Again means receiving a New Nature that loves the King’s Ways, then why are you still using your 'Grace' as a reason to keep the same 'Old Nature' that ignores His Sabbath and His Laws?" . The Transformation The New Nature: "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new." — 2 Corinthians 5:17 Spirit and Water: "Unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God." — John 3:5 The Result: Obedience shifts from an external "rule" to an internal "desire," fulfilling the promise that the Law would be written on our hearts (Jeremiah 31:33). The Transformation From Law to Heart: Obedience is no longer a struggle against your nature; it becomes the desire of your new nature. The Public Seal: Baptism serves as the official "crossing over" from the world's kingdom into God's Kingdom. The Result: Your internal spirit and external actions (Truth) finally align, allowing you to worship in a way that is both sincere and grounded in reality.

How Can Celebrate Easter Anger God? Now that we have just gone through the roots of easter the question remains, “How does celebrating easter anger God?” There is no doubt that the holiday has pagan roots which the LORD detests. Throughout the Old Testament, we see the LORD’s reaction to Israel’s constant falling away into idol worship and pagan practices. We are not much different than the Israelites. Why should we expect a different reaction from Abba? The Word says that God is a jealous God who does not tolerate idolatry. And even if you celebrate Easter with Jesus in mind, God does not receive this! Why? Because it’s a strange fire! Following a holiday with pagan roots , symbols, and meanings and then claiming it in honor of God is an abomination! Here is the clean, definitive Simple Test for identifying whether your home, calendar, and physical habits are in alignment with the Torah of Yehovah, or if you are active in the sin of syncretism—mixing the holy commands of God with the profane traditions of the world. ⚖️ The Simple Test: Sinning Against God (Syncretism Check) Instructions: Answer these 10 direct, binary (Yes/No) questions honestly before the Creator. Question 1: The Origin of the Winter Tree The Scriptural Law: “Do not learn the way of the Gentiles... for one cuts a tree from the forest... They decorate it with silver and gold...” (Jeremiah 10:2-4). The Question: When the winter season arrives, do you bring a decorated evergreen tree into your property, or do you banish this custom because it imitates the historic winter-solstice practices of the nations? The Question: Do you actively scrub the terminology of the nations from your lips when discussing holy things—such as refusing to call the celebration of the Master's resurrection by the name of a Germanic spring goddess (Easter)? [ ] YES (I obey God): You call His days what the Scriptures call them: Pesach (Passover) and Yom HaBikkurim (Firstfruits). [ ] NO (I follow tradition): You continue to use pagan-rooted names for holy realities because it is easier and more socially acceptable. Question 4: The Altar of Your Appetite The Scriptural Law: “Eating swine’s flesh and the abomination and the mouse, shall be consumed together,’ says the Lord.” (Isaiah 66:17). The Question: When you select what to put into your body, does the written Law of Leviticus 11 hold total veto power over your appetite, your cravings, and your social comfort? [ ] YES (I obey God): You strictly observe the dietary boundaries, treating your body as a clean, set-apart living sacrifice (Romans 12:1). [ ] NO (I follow tradition): You consume pork, shellfish, or other unclean things, rationalizing it through modern theology, social convenience, or personal taste. [ ] YES (I obey God): You guard the Seventh-Day Sabbath as an eternal covenant sign between you and the Father. [ ] NO (I follow tradition): You treat the Seventh Day like any other day for work, shopping, or entertainment, preferring man's shifting calendar. Question 6: The Direct Instruction Rule The Scriptural Law: “Whatever I command you, be careful to observe it; you shall not add to it nor take away from it.” (Deuteronomy 12:32). The Question: When looking for a way to worship the King, do you stick strictly to the Appointed Times (Moedim) He wrote down, or do you believe human beings have the authority to invent new religious holidays and rituals? [ ] YES (I obey God): You believe the Torah is sufficient and complete; you add no human holidays to His sacred calendar. [ ] NO (I follow tradition): You participate in holidays invented by the state of Rome or modern culture, assuming God accepts whatever we offer. Question 7: Purging Sacred Objects from the Home The Scriptural Law: “You shall burn the carved images of their gods with fire... nor take it for yourself, lest you be snared by it; for it is an abomination to Yehovah your God.” (Deuteronomy 7:25). The Question: Do you systematically inspect your home, decorations, and properties to ensure you are not harboring symbols historically tied to ancient fertility cults, solar wheels, or the occult? [ ] YES (I obey God): You purge your household of any physical item that carries a heritage of false worship or worldly customs. [ ] NO (I follow tradition): You keep these items around as "art," "decorations," or "antiques," ignoring the spiritual snare attached to them. Question 8: The Hearing of the Ear The Scriptural Law: “He that turned away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be an abomination.” (Proverbs 28:9). The Question: When the hard, straightforward truth of the Torah cuts across your comfort, your wallet, or your family traditions, how does your ear respond? [ ] YES (I obey God): You humble yourself, undergo the continuous baptism of repentance, and adjust your life immediately to match the Spoken Word. [ ] NO (I follow tradition): You look for loop-holes, modern grace excuses, or point to "good intentions," matching the exact description of the nation that refuses to be taught (Jeremiah 7:27). Question 9: The Pressure of the Feast Table The Scriptural Law: “You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons; you cannot partake of the Lord’s table and of the table of demons.” (1 Corinthians 10:21). The Question: If a close family member invites you to a major traditional holiday dinner (like Christmas or Easter) where unclean food is served and pagan-rooted traditions are practiced, do you have the courage to politely decline the invitation to keep your garments clean? [ ] YES (I obey God): You value covenant fidelity above family harmony, refusing to sit at a table that honors a mixed, profane tradition. [ ] NO (I follow tradition): You attend anyway to "keep the peace," validating their compromise with your presence. Question 10: The Definition of Faith The Scriptural Law: “But don't just listen to Yehovah’s word. You must do what it says. Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves.” (James 1:22). The Question: Is your faith a concrete action of physical submission, consisting of Believing, Committing, and Doing, or is it an intellectual concept wrapped in emotional sentiment? [ ] YES (I obey God): Your faith drives you to physically walk out His commands regarding His Sabbaths, His boundaries, and His instructions. [ ] NO (I follow tradition): You claim to have "faith in your heart" while your hands, your diet, and your lifestyle continue to practice the lawless habits of the world around you. 🎯 The Final Scorecard Every YES choice means you are standing with the Remnant who worship the Father in Spirit and in Truth (John 4:24). Every NO choice means the flesh is still ruling in that area, and you are active in syncretism—bringing "strange fire" before the altar of the King. “Thou shalt not do so unto the Lord thy God: for every abomination to the Lord, which he hateth, have they done unto their gods...” — Deuteronomy 12:31 The Satanic Ritual of Sacrificing Children Every year, the priests of Ishtar would impregnate young virgins on an altar dedicated to herself and her husband*. The children were born on Christmas December 25, and the next year they were sacrificed in the Easter's Sunday at the sunrise service. The priests would take Ishtar's eggs and dye them in the blood of the sacrificed children. Take heed to thyself that thou be not snared by following them, after that they be destroyed from before thee; and that thou enquire not after their gods, saying, How did these nations serve their gods? even so will I do likewise. Thou shalt not do so unto the Lord thy God: for every abomination to the Lord, which he hateth, have they done unto their gods; for even their sons and their daughters they have burnt in the fire to their gods. (Deuteronomy 12:30-31) God is not happy with the way we have mixed pagan practices with His true worship. Celebrating Easter does not honor or please God even if we do it with the right intention. It was never established by God, so why are we so attached to it? Why do we go to great lengths to defend a holiday that angers Abba? Pride perhaps? Or our unbudging stubbornness in tradition? In the words of Paul to the Romans: “But what saith the answer of God unto him? I have reserved to myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to the image of Baal.” (Romans 11:5) And still, to this day, there is a remnant of followers of The Way who have made the decision not to be contaminated by the world. Who have proposed to follow God no matter the cost, no matter the fire, no matter the cold shoulder. Because being Christian is not easy and less even when you follow the entire truth- the truth that no one wants to acknowledge. Truth is never popular, not even in the church. But be brave brethren. Be humble. At the end of the day, we want God’s approval, not man’s. Will you be part of the remnant? Exodus 12:3-14 3 Tell the whole community of Israel that on the tenth day of this month each man is to take a lamb[a ] for his family, one for each household. 4 If any household is too small for a whole lamb, they must share one with their nearest neighbor, having taken into account the number of people there are. You are to determine the amount of lamb needed in accordance with what each person will eat. 5 The animals you choose must be year-old males without defect, and you may take them from the sheep or the goats. 6 Take care of them until the fourteenth day of the month, when all the members of the community of Israel must slaughter them at twilight. 7 Then they are to take some of the blood and put it on the sides and tops of the doorframes of the houses where they eat the lambs. 8 That same night they are to eat the meat roasted over the fire, along with bitter herbs, and bread made without yeast. 9 Do not eat the meat raw or boiled in water, but roast it over a fire—with the head, legs, and internal organs. 10 Do not leave any of it till morning; if some is left till morning, you must burn it. 11 This is how you are to eat it: with your cloak tucked into your belt, your sandals on your feet, and your staff in your hand. Eat it in haste; it is the Lord’s Passover. Passover Meal The Last Supper Matthew 17 On the first day of the Festival of Unleavened Bread, the disciples came to Jesus and asked, “Where do you want us to make preparations for you to eat the Passover?” 18 He replied, “Go into the city to a certain man and tell him, ‘The Teacher says: My appointed time is near. I am going to celebrate the Passover with my disciples at your house.’” 1 9 So the disciples did as Jesus had directed them and prepared the Passover. 20 When evening came, Jesus was reclining at the table with the Twelve. 21 And while they were eating, he said, “Truly I tell you, one of you will betray me.” The Last Supper Mark 12 On the first day of the Festival of Unleavened Bread, when it was customary to sacrifice the Passover lamb, Jesus’ disciples asked him, “Where do you want us to go and make preparations for you to eat the Passover?” 13 So he sent two of his disciples, telling them, “Go into the city, and a man carrying a jar of water will meet you. Follow him. 14 Say to the owner of the house he enters, ‘The Teacher asks: Where is my guest room, where I may eat the Passover with my disciples?’ 15 He will show you a large room upstairs, furnished and ready. Make preparations for us there.” 16 The disciples left, went into the city and found things just as Jesus had told them. So they prepared the Passover. 17 When evening came, Jesus arrived with the Twelve. 18 While they were reclining at the table eating, he said, “Truly I tell you, one of you will betray me—one who is eating with me.” The Last Supper Luke 7 Then came the day of Unleavened Bread on which the Passover lamb had to be sacrificed. 8 Jesus sent Peter and John, saying, “Go and make preparations for us to eat the Passover.” 9 “Where do you want us to prepare for it?” they asked. 10 He replied, “As you enter the city, a man carrying a jar of water will meet you. Follow him to the house that he enters, 11 and say to the owner of the house, ‘The Teacher asks: Where is the guest room, where I may eat the Passover with my disciples?’ 12 He will show you a large room upstairs, all furnished. Make preparations there.” 13 They left and found things just as Jesus had told them. So they prepared the Passover. 14 When the hour came, Jesus and his apostles reclined at the table. 15 And he said to them, “I have eagerly desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer. 16 For I tell you, I will not eat it again until it finds fulfillment in the kingdom of God.” 1 Corinthians 11:23-25 23 For I received from the Lord what I also passed on to you: The Lord Jesus, on the night he was betrayed, took bread, 24 and when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, “This is my body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of me.” 25 In the same way, after supper he took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood; do this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of me.”
